JOIN A TEAM

 

Once you feel at home with us there are many areas of work in the church for which you can volunteer. We’re convinced everyone has a role to play and we want to help each person discover and use their gifts.

 

Serving on a team is not only a fulfilling experience, it’s also a great way to get connected, meet people and feel part of things. Here’s a run down of some of the teams operating in the church. Find something that fits your interests and availability, select it and then submit an email to us.

If your interests are Children and Ministry and you're available daytimes. We run a number of activities for children and young families during the week. These range from toddler groups in Grosvenor, to small groups in people's homes.
If your interests are Children and Ministry and you're available Sundays. With well over 60 children each Sunday there are lots of opportunities to serve, from welcoming and registering children to leading or helping in Sunday and mid-week groups.
If your interests are Artistic and Technical and you're available Sundays. All our Sunday services are filmed and the talks are posted online.
If your interests are Artistic and Technical and you're available Sundays. All our services use projection.
If your interests are Artistic and Ministry and you're available Sundays. The worship life of the church includes a wide variety of services and events, in different styles. Musicians and singers are needed to make this happen.
If your interests are Technical and you're available Sundays. With so many services and public events, we need people with a good ear and technical ability, who can run the PA system.
If your interests are Technical and you're available Sundays. This team resources services and events by operating the computer which runs the words during worship, Powerpoint presentations and DVDs.
If your interests are People and Serving and you're available on Sundays. In a large church it’s easy for people to get lost in crowd. We want to ensure that everyone attending receives a warm welcome so if you’re confident and friendly, we’d love to have you on the team.
If your interests are Practical and Serving and you're available generally. At Grosvenor we host many events throughout the year and these need resourcing in a variety of ways.
If your interests are Practical and you're available Sundays. A very practical job that always needs doing is simply setting out the chairs for our Sunday services.
If your interests are Serving and you're available Sundays. A hot drink served with a warm smile can make a real difference to someone’s experience of church. We need people to make that happen.
If your interests are serving and you're available weekdays. At Grosvenor we support 150 volunteers throughout the year and they need resourcing in various ways.
If your interests are Young adults and you're available generally. We have a thriving ministry and there are many ways to get involved. We're always looking for people to join the team.
