We want to help unchurched people become committed Christians and part of the worship of the church in our area and globally by Social Action, Community Action, Sunday Action and Global Action.

COMMUNITY ACTION

These Action Groups of about 20-60 people provide a place of community and purpose. They have all the benefits of small church but in the context of a large church.

Drop-in Kath's Cafe, Wednesday 10am-12noon, Grosvenor Church

Friendship Group, Men & Women 60+, Monday 2pm, Grosvenor Church

Men of Barnstaple MOB, Men 15+, 3rd Tuesday every month, 7.30pm

Women2gether, Women 15+, 1st Tuesday every month, 7.30pm

Encounter, 20-30s, Thursday, 7.30pm, North Devon House of Prayer

Who let the Dad's out?  Dads and under 5s (and Grandads!)Every 3rd Saturday 10-11.30am in Noah's Ark at Grosvenor Church

East the Water community - outreach and monthly Tuesday prayer group East the Water

 

SUNDAY ACTION

Each Group is in action once a month on Sunday mornings. The Groups are:

Regional

Visiting - Showing the love of Jesus by visiting and taking a service with the elderly and disabled in care homes

MOB - Men of Barnstaple: Reaching out to guys who surf on Sunday mornings

Torrington

Brunch - Sunday brunch in a school with children and parents from the 'All Sorts' club

Bideford

Victoria Park, Bideford - meeting at the cafe to reach out to those who have little or no church connection

Barnstaple

Whiddon Valley, Barnstaple - Healing on the Streets: Being available to pray for and with anyone outside the Tesco Store, Rose Lane

Newport, Barnstaple - Good News: Christian Newspaper distribution in the vicinity of the Barnstaple church building

Pilton, Barnstaple - Outreach and Thursday prayer group

 

GLOBAL ACTION

We're committed to our partners through prayer, giving and support. They, in turn, involve us in their mission and give us a bigger picture of what it means to be church.
