Welcome to Grosvenor
You are invited to our 10am Sunday services in October at Old Station Road, Barnstaple, EX32 8PB. Does life sometimes overtake you and prayer becomes no more than a cry in a crisis? Our series for October will help us in this vital area of our personal walk with God. On Sunday 23rd we are blessed to have James Alidiran, the visionary leader of Prayer Storm - a movement of worship, prayer and fasting crying out to God for a great awakening in our Nation. For more details please visit their website www.prayerstorm.org
If you are looking for God online you can watch this and join one of our Barnstaple, East the Water/Bideford or Torrington small groups looking at who Jesus is firstname.lastname@example.org
Baptism is a first step of discipleship. It's an outward sign of an inward commitment. A symbol to yourself and the world that you're ready to follow Jesus. We celebrated a Baptism on 11 September. You can be baptised for a fresh start by emailing email@example.com or downloading our Baptism Leaflet
Its easy to feel lost in a crowd. Here at Grosvenor we want people to feel they belong to our family as quickly and as smoothly as possible. We trust you will quickly make new friends but in the meantime why not come along to our Welcome Lunch. Meet some of the team and leaders and find out more about life in Grosvenor. Sign up: firstname.lastname@example.org
For further information join us for coffee at 9.30am on Sundays or use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page or contact the Church Office directly.
Grosvenor is a community of around 500 adults and 250 children with our roots dating back to 1842. You can check out our 20-30s group on Facebook.
Our Torrington congregation started on 4th October 2015 to fulfil our 2012 vision of a church of churches. On average 60-70 people attend regularly. There are 3 Family Group meetings as well as the usual Brunch and Prayer Breakfasts. We celebrated our first baptism on 10th July at Westward Ho! beach.
We seek to be lively, spirit filled, bible teaching evangelical churches.

Over recent years we have seen significant spiritual and numerical growth as we have reached out through Action Groups and other initiatives. The Vision has expanded as you have heard the Elders believe God has called us to continue to grow and this involves investment of time, gifting and money. The Vision Offering is one of the aspects of the Vision Day in September. This is because the offerings have not kept pace with our financial needs over the past year and projecting into the future. We have an opportunity as a Church.
We, the Elders & Trustees, want to encourage everyone to prayerfully review their giving be it by a one-off donation and/or standing order. Standing orders are great for Grosvenor as they enable us to plan accurately and help donors plan their own finances. The annual budget for income which aims to meet the costs as identified by the various budget holders – to fully support the on-going vision - was last financial year to March 2016 some £308k and therefore below our target of £320k. The Vision has expanded and therefore we have a target of £25k for our Vision Offering on 25th September 2016.
